This Saturday will see a new member to the physiotherapy team as Josh Watts takes over regular first team duties from Chris Palmer.

Chris works for the Football CV Academy at Corby and his role has recently increased significantly with more commitments meaning he is struggling to attend all sessions. The Club welcomes Josh Watts into the role. Josh is very well qualified with a Masters degree in Sports Therapy and has worked at various clubs.

Manager David Staff said “I’m pleased for Chris that his role at CV is increasing and he will continue to support first team and also elements of the young Daniels. This season he has had to work hard to keep a small squad fit for an almost constant two games a week since the season started.

“Josh has been with the squad for a couple of training sessions and I’m impressed with his enthusiasm and how well he has fitted in. He has plenty of experience and I’m sure he will do a good job for us".

“Chris has said he is always available if we need his help or advice. That is typical of Chris and I’m pleased that we can call on him if needs be”.
